Introduction NNMGA
Nepal National Mountain Guide Association is a candidate country of International Federation of Mountain Guide Association (IFMGA), this is non-profit organization formed by professional mountain guide of Nepal. This association is established with an objective to unite manpower involved in mountaineering profession and develop their standard activities in mountaineering to provide additional economic support to the nation through such trained manpower.

Everest Summit
On 22 May 2009, NNMGA Member, Aspirant Guide Mr. Mulal Gurung summit Mt. Everest successfully.
On 21 May 2009, at 5.55 am another member of NNMGA Mr. Pasang Sherpa summitted Mt. Everest successfully.
Mr. Pemba Gyalje Sherpa is awarded by Sagarmatha ( Everest National Award).
29 May 2009, On the occassion of 2nd International Sagarmatha Day, Mr. Pemba Gyalje Sherpa is awarded by Sagarmatha ( Everest National Award). This award cash prize is One Lakh Nepalese rupees.
